Biography
2013 (SOPHOMORE): Was a member of the CSUB Roadrunners Cross Country team but did not compete in any races.
2012 (FRESHMAN): Ran in a handful of meets as a freshman for CSUB and put up her best performance at the Cal State Northridge Invite, where she clocked a 23:27.72 to take 59th place.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Independence High School in 2012…Was honored as the Falcons’ Most Inspirational 2008-12 in cross country and 2010-12 in track and field as well as the team’s most valuable distance runner in 2009…Honored by the Bakersfield Jockey Club in 2009…Also played basketball for the Falcons and was the team MVP 2009-11…Honored as a member of the California Scholarship Federation.
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 28, 1993…Plans on majoring in nursing and hopes to attend medical school after her time at CSUB…Daughter of Michelle Valente…Hobbies include traveling and loving to laugh and be funny.
