Quotes from Head Coach Daniel Sperl
- "We played two great teams today and showed flashes of our potential, but weren't consistent enough to stay in the games. We need to continue to work, and buy completely into trusting ourselves and each other. We're close, but not there yet. When we do, we'll be a completely different team."
- "I'm really proud of pitchers Kirsten Martinez and Reina Castillo. Both threw well against tough lineups and without our best efforts defensively. That's a great sign for our pitching staff and team the rest of the season."
