BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—CSU Bakersfield water polo coach Jason Gall has announced his resignation effective immediately in order to take another position.

“I want to thank Coach Gall for all he has done for the CSUB Water Polo program over the past decade,” said CSUB director of athletics Kenneth "Ziggy" Siegfried. “He has accomplished a lot during his time, all while spending the past few years in the toughest conference in the nation for Water Polo.”

In 10 seasons at the helm of the Roadrunners, Gall became the winningest coach in CSUB history with 154 victories. Five ‘Runners earned All-American honors under Gall's watch. 18 times, a CSUB player earned All-Conference honors in both the MPSF and the WWPA.

A search for Gall's replacement is underway.
