BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – After a few weeks off, the CSU Bakersfield women’s swimming and diving team will jump back into the pool on Saturday, Dec. 10. The Roadrunners will face off against Fresno State in a home dual at the Hillman Aquatic Center at noon.

Aside from senior Dylana Milobar, who just returned from the AT&T Winter Nationals, CSUB’s swimmers and divers have been out of competition and training hard. The rest of the women last competed at the highly-competitive A3 Performance Invitational, Nov. 17-19, and are itching to get back in the pool.

The Bulldogs always represent a tough challenge for the ‘Runners, even in CSUB’s own home waters. Fresno State handed CSUB a 178-122 dual loss in Fresno, Calif. a year ago while CSUB edged its Central Valley rival by a mere thirteen points in Bakersfield during the 2014-15 season.

The first event is scheduled for noon at the Hillman Aquatic Center. Admission to the meet is free while parking in Lot I, as always, is also free on game days. Fans can come for the swim meet at noon and stay for a full day of Roadrunner action as the women’s basketball team plays Fresno Pacific at 1 p.m. and the men’s basketball team takes on Portland State at 7 p.m. in the Icardo Center.
