NORWALK, Calif. – CSUB senior thrower Steve Trojanowski had a four-foot personal record in the hammer throw Thursday afternoon at the Bryan Clay Invitational, hosted by Azusa Pacific University.
Trojanowski marked 194-feet and 11 inches to place third in the event. The mark was and even four-feet further than his previous best mark. The throw also moves him to No. 9 on CSUB's all-time list. The mark would also have qualified him for the NCAA Division I Regional Championships had the 'Runners been eligible.
Tomorrow, Trojanowski (hammer), Derek Johnson (discus) and Cameron Jost (400m) will all compete at the Mt. Sac relays while the rest of the team will attend the second session of the Bryan Clay Invitational.
