BAKERSFIELD, Calif.-- The CSU Bakersfield women's basketball team travels to Utah Valley on Saturday for a game that will be available on ESPN 3. Tip is set for 3 p.m. (MT).

The Roadrunners (6-11, 1-2 WAC) split a pair of home games last season. CSUB opened with a 71-46 victory over UTRGV last Thursday. The 54 rebounds CSUB posted against UTRGV last Thursday were the seventh most in a game by the ‘Runners at the Division I level. Tylinn Carter recorded her first career double-double (17-12) in the 64-55 loss to NM State last Saturday. Carter had a fine week, averaging 13.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.

Utah Valley is 6-12, 1-2 in the WAC. The Wolverines’ Sam Lubcke averaged 15.5 ppg and 11.0 rpg as the Wolverines went 1-1 on a road trip to Chicago and Kansas City last week. UVU’s Taylor Gordon is third in the WAC in scoring (15.1) while Mariah Seals is eighth in scoring (13.6). Lubcke is second in the conference in rebounding (8.2) and is 14th in scoring (11.8). CSUB leads the all-time series against the Wolverines 10-4.
