Geisinger played first base for the Phoenix College Bears, which won the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference title and the National Junior College Athletic Association Region I Division 2 championship in 2008...was named the Region I Tournament MVP...led the Bears in RBIs (36) and doubles (15)...also hit .292 with 47 hits, 30 runs scored, 15 doubles and four home runs...perfect 15-for-15 in stolen bases.

Geisinger was a standout player at Highland High School in Gilbert, Ariz., earning first team All-Fiesta Region as a senior...hit at a .400 clip with 40 RBIs and six home runs as a senior...also earned second team all-state honors...was selected to participate in the Arizona Top 50 game.
