BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—The CSU Bakersfield wrestling team hosts the sixth Roadrunner Open Sunday in Fresno. After four years in Selland Arena, the tournament moves to Clovis North High School for a 10 a.m. start. Live results for the Roadrunner Open will be available on Trackwrestling.com
Scheduled to compete in the tournament are; Army West Point, Boise State, California Baptist, Cal Poly, CSU Bakersfield, Menlo, Oregon State, Purdue, San Francisco State, Sierra College, and Stanford. Army wrestles at Cal Poly Friday in an afternoon dual in San Luis Obispo.

The Cardinal are ranked 13th in the Intermat and 15th in the USA Today coaches poll this week. Stanford has three wrestlers ranked in the Intermat Individual polls. Menlo is ranked 12th in the preseason NAIA Top 25 poll and second in the NAIA West Region.
This is the first tournament for CSU Bakersfield this season after going 2-1 in dual competition over the first week of the 2016-17 campaign. CSUB split a pair of duals Nov. 11, defeating San Francisco State 42-3 and losing to No. 10 Rutgers 26-15.
Three ‘Runner wrestlers, Ian Nickell (125), Coleman Hammond (149), and Matt Williams (197) are 3-0. Hammond is ranked in three polls this week in his weight class with a high of 18th in two of the polls. With two pins during the Nov. 11 tri-dual against San Francisco State and Rutgers, Williams has moved into 19th in school history in career pins with 20.
