BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield’s men’s and women’s diving teams will travel to Los Angeles this weekend for the Trojan Diving Invitational hosted by USC. The three-day meet will take place Nov. 11-13 at the Uytengsa Aquatics Center.

"We are looking forward to competing in the Trojan Invite this year," said Ben Herboth, CSUB's Diving Coach. "Similar to the UCLA Bruin invite last year, the field will be very competitive, especially on the women's side. It will be a great measuring stick for our team. I'm looking for seniors Carlee Burks and Tyler Greenwald to have big meets."

Fresh off of an outstanding performance in a meet against Seattle U and Idaho, the ‘Runner divers are prepared to take on some of the top NCAA Division I student-athletes. CSUB’s seniors Burks and Greenwald were on top of their games in Idaho with both scoring over 300 points on one of the boards.

Fellow divers Melissa Gore, Hannah Chernabaeff, and Donna Rotella are expected to join Burks in Los Angeles this weekend. Greenwald will be the only representative for the ‘Runner men.

The diving action kicks off Friday morning and the student-athletes will compete on one element each day. CSUB is expected to take on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards and get one of their rare chances to practice on the platform before the Western Athletic Conference Championships this spring.

Full results and a recap from each day of competition will be posted here at
