BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield’s men’s golf team will wrap up the 2016 fall season at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational Oct. 27-29. The Roadrunners will play 18 holes on three consecutive days in Pacific’s 54-hole, Par 71 tournament at Stockton Golf and Country Club.

“We are looking forward to the Visit Stockton Invitational this week,” said Meggan Bunker, Head Coach of the men’s team. “Every tournament, we have been getting closer to what we are wanting to achieve and we are excited to see what we can accomplish this week.”

Bunker is prepared to send her usual cast of student-athletes to the tournament in Stockton, with one exception. Senior Izzad Ibrahim paced the ‘Runners in their last tournament and qualified first for the upcoming tournament. Behind him were freshman Warren Miller, junior Nathan Green, and sophomore Dominick Hoover. Making his season debut on the competitive squad will be junior Garry Cai.

The Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational tournament begins Thursday, Oct. 27 and will feature three rounds over three days. Pairings will begin teeing off at 8:30 a.m. in Stockton, Calif.
