FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – CSU Bakersfield’s women’s indoor track and field team kicked off the 2017 season on Saturday. The Roadrunners ran, jumped, and hurdled their way through the Lumberjack Team Challenge, hosted by Northern Arizona, with CSUB's freshmen putting on great perfomances in their collegiate debuts.
“Julianne got off to a great start with third place in the pole vault,” said Marcia Mansur-Wentworth. “Falon and the girls did a very good job in the 60 dash. Tricia was also good in the high jump and hurdles. We decided to hold Angel Valdez out of the 3000 today just as a precaution. Overall, I’m pleased with this being just our first meet of the year.”
