BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—The CSU Bakersfield women’s basketball team completes a Midwest road trip Saturday when the Roadrunners head to Chicago State Saturday for a 12 p.m. CT start.

Erika Williams’ field goal with three seconds to go gave CSUB a 65-63 victory over UMKC Thursday night. The Roadrunners sit in third place in the WAC entering this week’s play. At 8-4, the ‘Runners are one game behind Seattle U (9-3) as NM State has clinched the regular season title and the No. 1 seed at the WAC Tournament.

Chicago State is 0-26, 0-12 in WAC play. The Cougars have lost 33 in a row dating back to Feb. 4, 2016 when Chicago State defeated Seattle U 57-49. Chicago State’s Cailin Nix has played 467 of 485 possible minutes for the Cougars in conference play. Her teammate Jessica Cerda has played 473 minutes for CSU in conference play.
