BAKERSFIELD, Calif.-CSU Bakersfield completed a four-game sweep of Northern Colorado as the Roadrunners defeated the Bears 4-1 Sunday afternoon at Hardt Field.

Dylan Christensen (Sr., Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., Saddleback College) broke a scoreless tie with a bunt single off of a safety squeeze to score Mylz Jones (Fr., Palmdale, Calif., Paraclete HS) with two outs in the bottom of the seventh.

Jones doubled in Cael Brockmeyer (Jr., Vineyard Haven, Mass., Avon Old Farms HS) with two outs in the bottom of the eighth for a 2-0 CSUB lead. Jordie Hein's (So., Scottsdale, Ariz., Chapparal HS) two-RBI double later in the inning extended the Roadrunner advantage.

Ben Packard drove in the UNC (4-11) run with a two-out double in the top of the ninth.

Jonathan Montoya (R-Sr., Chino Hills, Calif., Chino Hills HS) went the first 8 2/3's, giving up three hits, striking out eight and only walking one. Christensen, the CSUB closer, struck out Harrison Lambert looking to end the game for his third save of the year.

Christensen, Jones, and Tyler Shryock (Jr., Tehachapi, Calif., Desert Christian HS) all had two hits.  Shyrock and Jones both extended their respective hitting streaks to 11 games.

The Roadrunners (14-6) travel to Cal State Northridge Tuesday for the first of three game against the Matadors this season. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
