BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--Tyler Shryock (So., Tehachapi, Calif., Desert Christian HS) drove in three runs as CSU Bakersfield (9-14) defeated Air Force (6-17) 6-2 Wednesday night at Hardt Field.

Shryock hit in the second spot in the order for the first time this season as he posted two hits. Oscar Sanay (So., Chula Vista, Calif., Bonita Vista HS) was 3-for-5 with two RBI's. It was Sanay's 11th multi-hit game of the season. DC Legg (R-Sr., Murrieta, Calif., Cypress College) and Andrew Letourneau (Sr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield College) both tallied two hits. CSUB pounded out 14 hits on the night.

Four Roadrunner pitchers combined on a five hitter. Taylor Aikenhead (So., Lancaster, Calif., Bakersfield College) started and did not give up hit while striking out four over the first four innings. James Barragan (Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., Stockdale HS) and Austin Davis (Fr., Scottsdale, Ariz., Desert Mountain HS) pitched the middle two innings before giving way to Hayden Carter (Fr., San Diego, Calif., Vista HS) who tossed the final three innings for the save. Aikenhead got the victory as per agreement (CSUB indicated the program would throw three or more pitchers before the game).

The Roadrunners open a three-game series against Sacramento State Friday night at 6 p.m.
