BAKERSFIELD, Calif.-Kansas State's Jared King went 4-for-4 with two home runs three RBI's, three runs scored, and a walk to lead the Wildcats (26-15) to a 9-0 victory over CSUB (24-13) Tuesday night at Hardt Field.

Kansas State jumped on the board early with three runs in the top of the first.  King hit his first home run of the night in the third to make it 4-0. The Roadrunners loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the third, but Oscar Sanay (Fr., Chula Vista, Calif., Bonita Vista HS) grounded into a double play to end the threat.

K-State scored two more runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth (including King's second home run) for the final Kansas State runs of the game. The Wildcats turned back two other CSUB offensive chances with double plays in the first and eighth innings.

King's older brother Jason and Tanner Witt each posted two hits. Andrew Letourneau (Jr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield College) was 2-for-3 with a walk for CSUB.
