SEATTLE, Wash.--Washington (13-7) defeated CSU Bakersfield (7-12) 4-1 Friday night at Husky Ballpark.

The Huskies took advantage of a CSUB error in the third as Branden Berry singled in Jayce Ray for an unearned run. Washington made it 2-0 in the fourth on a Ty Afenir RBI single. The Roadrunners got on the board in the top of the fifth when a Kevin Younger (So., Bakersfield, Calif., Liberty HS) double plated Tyler Shryock (So., Tehachapi, Calif., Desert Christian HS).
