Daniel Wines joined the CSU Bakersfield staff in August of 2016. Wines is responsible for a variety of duties including event coordinating and assisting with athletic facility management.
Previously, Wines held positions at Louisiana State University and with the New Orleans Saints. At LSU, he contributed in a few different departments specifically in event and game management. He assisted in game day management tasks mostly in football and baseball but also with other teams as well.
During football season, Wines oversaw the operation of cash game day parking lots before proceeding to work in the call center with the State Police, Campus Police, and Sheriff departments. With the Saints, he was an intern that assisted in the operation of mini camp for the 2016 football season.
Wines graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2008 with a Bachelor's of Science in Education with a concentration in Physical Education and a double minor in Adapted PE and Coaching. He then worked as a Baseball Coach at Whittell High School in Zephyr Cove, Nev., leading the team to the 2010 Nevada State Championship. Wines, then attended LSU and received his Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport Management in December of 2014.
