BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--Julie Dodge of Bakersfield became the winner of the Roadrunners' Sweet Ride Vehicle Raffle June 30.

Dodge won a brand new 2016 GMC Terrain SLE Motor City Buick GMC as part of a raffle that was conducted by Motor City Buick GMC in conjuction with CSU Bakersfield Athletics. Dodge is able to select vehicle color or leave promotional CSUB Athletics wrap on current vehicle.

Sales for the raffle which was also presented by Kern Schools Federal Credit Union and Coca-Cola, benefited the Roadrunner Scholarship Fund.

Other prizes during the giveaway event included an escape to Balboa Bay Club Spa & Resort in Newport Beach with a $1,000 gift card. Also, each ticket purchased is also redeemable for $25 off vehicle service at any Motor City location.

Tax, title and license is included but winners are responsible for reporting taxable winnings. CSUB athletic would like to thank all those who participated in the raffle which was comprised of tickets that cost $100.

About the Roadrunner Scholarship Fund

The Roadrunner Scholarship Fund provides educational opportunities for over 300 student-athletes at CSUB. All scholarship support offered to student-athletes comes from privately-raised donations through the fund. The Roadrunner Scholarship Fund consists of 350 members, and is the midst of reaching their highest fundraising goal to date of $800,000 by July 1, 2016.
