BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield and Grand Canyon will meet in Bakersfield on Saturday, Feb. 27, in a battle for the second spot in the Western Athletic Conference’s men’s basketball standings. Fans will be treated to a highly-competitive basketball game, guaranteed to be a thriller, and expected to be another sellout. Thanks to CSUB’s fan-experience app, Runner Nation, and SuperfanU, the night will be even more exciting as one lucky CSUB student will have the chance to win $1,000 during halftime.

When the Roadrunners and Antelopes head to the locker rooms for their halftime chats, fans will be treated to a shot sequence challenge for one CSUB student. If the student can make one basket from each shot position in the allotted time, he or she will walk away with $1,000.

Come on out to the Icardo Center for the men’s basketball game this week, Saturday, Feb. 27, with tip off set for 7 p.m. Download the Runner Nation app before you get to the Icardo Center so you can check in and be eligible for the drawing to win a chance at the $1,000 prize.

Contest Rules:

Contestant must:
Be a CSUB student with valid ID
Be present at the game at the time of the drawing
Have downloaded the Runner Nation app and checked in at the game

Contestant will have a predetermined amount of time to make one basket from each of the designated spots.
