BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--Bakersfield head coach Mike Mendoza announced the 2013-14 wrestling scheduled Sept. 23.

The Roadrunners will begin the season Oct. 19 with the annual Blue-Gold Dual in which the team will have a dedication ceremony for former coach the late T.J. Kerr. The regular season opens Nov. 3 at the San Francisco State 21 and Under Tournament. The first home meet is a Pac-12 contest Nov. 7 against Cal Poly.

Bakersfield will head to the Fresno City College 21 & Under Tournament Nov. 9 before hosting a tri-dual in the Old Gym Nov. 15 against Appalachian State and Grand Canyon that begins at 4:30 p.m. The third Roadrunner Open will be conducted in Fresno's Selland Arena Nov. 17.

The 'Runners close the month of Nov. 30 with a quad at Stanford that includes a Pac-12 dual against the Cardinal. December features three tournaments; The Las Vegas Cliff Keen Invitational (Dec. 6-7), Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 22), and Midlands Champion (Dec. 29-30).

The bulk of the Bakersfield home dual schedule is in the month of January when North Dakota State (Jan. 6), Boise State (Jan. 10), Oregon State (Jan. 12), and Menlo College (Jan. 17) head to the Icardo Center. The Roadrunners travel to San Francisco State for a second time for a dual Jan. 31 and the California Collegiate Open Feb. 1.

The final duals occur Feb. 6 at Cal Baptist, Feb. 8 at Oklahoma State, and the final regular season event Feb. 16 when Arizona State enters the Icardo Center. The Pac-12 Championships, which will be televised by the Pac-12 Network will occur Saturday, Mar. 1 at Stanford. The NCAA Championships are Mar. 20-22 in Oklahoma City, Okla.

"We are looking forward to competing this season and are dedicating this season to Coach Kerr," Mendoza said. "We will have a dedication presentation at our Blue v Gold meet Oct. 19."
