BAKERSFIELD, Calif.- Bakersfield Roadrunner Athletics, partnering with Phoenix Design Works and AAA Flag and Banner have updated the Icardo Center with new graphics inside and out for the 2013-14 season.

The first part of the redesign started with a the second phase of ‘The New Gold Standard’ marketing campaign and included new sets of images produced by Phoenix Design Works. The new images keep with the gold theme but adopt a ‘work in progress’ and ‘finished product’ concept.

The first set of new images that is displayed on the sliding doors of the Icardo Center shows gold being manufactured, complete with the CSUB Roadrunner logo on the gold bars along with the logo of the Western Athletic Conference, Bakersfield’s new primary conference affiliation.

The second set of images being displayed on the outer doors show finished pressed gold coins that represent every sport that competes in the Icardo Center, along with CSUB Athletics marks and ‘The New Gold Standard’  lettering. Fan images are also included in the outer doors.

In the lobby, hanging banners were replaced by a mural honoring some of the great student-athletes, teams and moments of the Icardo Center while also including new marketing images showing a combined effort of past and future.

Many of the same images created by Phoenix Design and produced by AAA Flag and Banner will also be included in other marketing materials and advertisements through the upcoming seasons.
