BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—Mylz Jones (Fr., Palmdale, Calif., Paraclete HS) went 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored, and two RBI’s to lead CSU Bakersfield (26-13, 10-3 WAC) past Dallas Baptist (20-18, 7-6 WAC) 10-4 Friday night.

Jones’ two-out RBI single put the Roadrunners up 1-0 in the bottom of the first. Michael Miller RBI ground out in the top of the third drove in an unearned run to tie the score. CSUB took the lead back in the bottom of the third when the team sent 10 batters to the plate, scoring six runs. The Roadrunners added two more in the fourth. Miller drove in his second run of the game with a two-out double in the fifth but CSUB responded with a tally in the bottom of the inning. The Patriots scored twice in the sixth.

The previous record was two which was held by 14 players. Oscar Sanay (Jr., Chula Vista, Calif., Bonita Vista HS) and Jordie Hein (So., Scottsdale, Ariz., Chapparal HS) both recorded two hits. Sanay and Chance Gusbeth (Fr., Lancaster, Calif., Desert Christian HS) drove in two runs each
