PASADENA, Calif. - The CSU Bakersfield men's and women's track and field teams will be in action on Friday and Saturday at the Pasadena Games in Pasadena, Calif.

Distance and throwing events will be held on Friday, while the track and other field events are slated for Saturday.

CSUB will be led on the men's side by its strong throwing foursome of hammer specialist Thomas Judge (Sr., Bakersfield, Calif., Garces HS), discus and hammer thrower Gabe Holland (Jr., Anchorage, Alaska, Univ. of Alaska), shot put and hammer thrower Bryan Wilmert (So., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield HS) and javelin thrower Karnell Grimes (R-So., Rosamond, Calif., Rosamond HS). 

On Friday, the 'Runners will also be looking for high finishes from relay teams in the men's and women's 4X800 relays and the women's 4X1600 relay.
On Saturday, the 'Runners will be led by a strong group of sprinters and hurdlers like Richard Maestre and Alyssa Page (So., Santa Rosa, Calif., Montgomerey HS). Freshman Jamara Scott (Bakersfield, Calif., Golden Valley) will led CSUB's talented core of jumpers.
