BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--The CSU Bakersfield water polo team hosts No. 3 Arizona State and No. 20 Pacific at the Roadrunner Invitational I this weekend.

CSUB plays Bucknell (9 a.m.) and Wagner (2:30 p.m.) on Saturday before taking on the Sun Devils in the first home MPSF water polo match in school history on Sunday at 11 a.m. The tournament concludes with a Sunday match at 3:15 against the Tigers.

"We've been on the road for six straight weekends and we are excited about staying home for the four games here at CSUB this weekend," said CSUB head coach Jason Gall. "The marquee game for us this weekend is obviously our first MPSF home game vs No. 3 Arizona State. These are the types of games that we are really looking forward to as a part of the MPSF. There is no lack of motivation however for our other three games as we know that Bucknell and Wagner have been playing well on the east coast and we looking to get in the win column against Pacific. Pacific is a team that has beaten us twice this season, once by three goals and the second time by one."
