BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--Jordan Reed (Sr., Bakersfield, Calif., Liberty HS) and Michaela Paige (Fr., Lompoc, Calif., Cabrillo HS) both won two events as Washington State defeated CSU Bakersfield 172-116 in the regular season women's swimming finale Saturday.

Reed swept the 1m and 3m diving events marking her eighth and ninth diving event wins in 18 starts this season. Paige won the 200 free (1:52.79) and the 500 free (5:09.47). For Paige it was her 12th and 13th wins of the year (in a total of 34 individual races).

Also earning victories for CSUB were Lauren Kaufman (So. Renton, Wash., TCU) in the 50 free (:24.28) and Delise Batiza (So. San Ramon, Calif., Oregon State) in the 1000 free (10:32.51).

The Roadrunners finished the regular season with a 7-7 dual record, the most dual wins since CSUB transitioned to Division I.

"Going 7-7 in dual (competition) shows the great progress we have made as a program," said CSUB director of swimming Chris Hansen. "Michaela, Lauren, and Delise know how to race hard and win. I can't be prouder of our team heading into the WAC Championships."

CSUB heads to the WAC Championshps Feb. 27-Mar. 2 in San Antonio, Texas.
