EDINBURG, Texas--The CSU Bakersfield women's basketball team extended its winning streak to seven with a 71-62 victory over future WAC foe UT-Pan American Wednesday night.

Amber Williams (Sr., Fontana, Calif., Etiwanda HS) moved into second place on the CSUB career scoring chart when she connected on a three-pointer at the 8:18 mark of the second half. Williams surpassed Kelley Tarver (1,481, 2005-10) and is the first Roadrunner to score all 1,000 points at the Division I level.

Williams finished the night with a game high 27 points. She went 11-of-17 from the field on the night. The 5-6 guard has scored 1,490 points in her career. Janae Coffee (R-So., Fresno, Calif., Long Beach State) went 8-of-11 from the field for 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

The Roadrunners travel to the University of New Orleans Monday for a 2 p.m. (CST) tip.
