HOUSTON, Texas--For the second consecutive game, Amber Williams (Sr., Fontana, Calif., Etiwanda HS) scored at least 30 points as CSU Bakersfield defeated Houston Baptist 88-75 in women's basketball action Tuesday night.

Williams went 10-for-16 from the field and 5-for-8 from three-point range to record and even 30 points. The 5-7 guard also went 5-of-6 from the free throw line. In surpassing the 1,400 (1,420) career-point plateau, Williams also added three assists and three steals.

Three other Roadrunners scored in double figures. Janae Coffee (R-So., Fresno, Calif., Long Beach State) tallied 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Coffee only played 15 minutes. Ciarra Ford (Sr., Long Beach, Calif., Mt. Sac College) scored 13 while Dajy Vines (R-So., Oxnard, Calif., Santa Clara HS) had 12.

CSUB made 11-of-24 three-point attempts in shooting over 45-percent for the game. The Roadrunners scored 28 points off of 19 Huskies' turnovers.

CSUB returns home Saturday when the Roadrunners host Utah Valley beginning at 2 p.m.
