BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--For the second consecutive weekend, CSU Bakersfield heads to San Luis Obispo for wrestling action. Saturday night will see the Roadrunners travel to Mott Gym for a Pac-12 dual at Cal Poly. Action is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

CSUB (5-3, 0-1 Pac-12) defeated Cal Poly 27-13 during the season opening tri-dual Nov. 8 in the Old Gym. This will be the Pac-12 opener for the Mustangs who are 2-4 in dual competition this season. The Roadrunners lead the all-time series 26-18-2.

Cal Poly will be led by 133-pound freshman Devon Lotito, who is ranked No. 13 by Amateur Wrestling News with his 21-6 record. He will face Ian Nickell (R-Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield HS), who is ranked No. 12 by AWN and is 23-6. Nickell has already won two of three matches against Lotito this season.

In addition to Nickell, two other CSUB wrestlers are nationally ranked. Bryce Hammond (R-Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersifeld HS) is anywhere from 18-20 in four polls. Tyler Iwamura (R-Sr., San Diego, Calif., Santa Fe Christian HS) is 23-27 in three polls. Iwamura is first at 125 pounds in the first Pac-12 rankings released this week.
