HARLINGEN, Texas--CSU Bakersfield defeated North Dakota 4-2 to take fifth place at the Great West Women's Tennis Championships Sunday.

The Roadrunners swept all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead into singles play. UND earned victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles before Julian Mannix (Jr., Santa Barbara, Calif., San Marcos HS) tied the match at two with a straight sets victory at No. 3 singles.

Estefania Limpias (R-So., Bakersfield, Calif., Liberty HS) made 3-2 with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Megan Sween at No. 4 singles. Nancy Ramirez (Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., East Bakersfield HS) clinched the dual victory with a 6-4, 6-3 victory against Mindy Lawrence at No. 5 singles.

The dual victory broke a 13-match losing streak dating back to the end of the 2010-11 season.
