Jacob Valenzuela hails from Bakersfield’s own Garces High School where he was a standout pitcher and infielder...2008 second team All-Southeast Yosemite League selection...2007 second team Bakersfield Californian all-area pitcher...2007 first team All-Southeast Yosemite League selection...earned the Rams’ Ironman Award in 2006 and 2007...was a second team all-league pick in 2005 and 2006...also lettered in football for the Rams, helping the team to a Central Section Championship.

SUMMER LEAGUE
Valenzuela was a two-year member of the Bakersfield Dodgers...one-year member of the SoCal St. Louis Cardinals scout team.
