SEASIDE, Calif. ? Four of five competing Roadrunner women's golfers cut strokes between rounds one and two as the CSUB squad concluded the 2009 season at the Lady Otter Invitational Tuesday at Bayonet Golf Course.

With just two NCAA Division I teams competing, CSUB was scored against an “A” and “B” team from San Diego State. The Aztecs' top squad finished with rounds of 314 and 309 for a final score of 623. SDSU's “B” squad carded a 673 and the Roadrunners finished at 682.

Meggan Bellows was Bakersfield's top finisher, carding rounds of 88 and 80 to place seventh at 168. Senior Jennifer Beggs concluded her career as a Roadrunner by shooting an 85 and 84 to place ninth at 169. Jennifer Davison placed 12th at 172, Ashley Neal was 13th at 173 and Jenna Barnett was 16th at 180.

San Diego State's Malin Enarsson led the field with a 154, 10 strokes over par.

Beggs is the only senior on the young 2009 team. The full squad also featured a pair of freshmen, four sophomores and one junior.
