ELK GROVE, Calif. ? Jennifer Beggs carded an 80 in the second and final round of the Sacramento State Invitational at Valley Hi Country Club Tuesday, finishing in a tie for 15th overall.

Beggs shot the low score for the CSUB women's golf team on both days of the tournament, finishing at 161 overall. Meggan Bellows carded 81 Tuesday to finish in 24th at 167. Jenna Barnett was two strokes behind in 25th place at 169 while Ashley Neal rounded things off with an 87 second round and a total score of 174, good for 31st place.

Bakersfield's fifth team member, Jennifer Davison, withdrew from the tournament on Monday.

Santa Clara claimed the team title at 618, followed by host Sacramento State in second at 624, Montana State in third at 628, North Dakota in fourth at 664 and CSUB in fifth at 671.

Miki Ueoka of Santa Clara shot rounds of 75 and 71, the only sub-par round of the tournament to take first in the individual standings at 146.

The Roadrunners close out the 2009 season Mar. 30-31 at the Lady Otter Invitational hosted by CSU Monterey Bay in Seaside.
