BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--CSU Bakersfield redshirt senior Alex Daneke (Lodi, Calif., UC Davis) has been named MPSF Men's Swimmer of the Week Jan. 9.

Daneke led CSUB to a relay victory and posted three top-three performances in the Jan. 5 dual against No. 23 UNLV. Daneke anchored the Roadrunners' 400 Free Relay that finished first in a time of 3:06.55. Daneke was second in the 200 Back (1:54.74) and second in the 200 Free (1:42.29). He placed third in the 100 Fly in a time of 51.41.

CSUB is at UC San Diego Saturday for a tri-dual with the Tritons and Missouri S&T. The meet will begin at 12 p.m.
