Check Out the Women's Basketball Highlights From Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The night began with Head Coach Tim La Kose greeting fans outside the Icardo center before the CSUB women's basketball team took on the Cal Poly Mustangs. It ended with a buzzer–beating layup from senior Phynique Allen, giving the Roadrunners an 83–81 victory over the Mustangs.

As part of the Pack the House promotion in association with Kern Schools Federal Credit Union, Coach La Kose stood outside the Icardo Center from 6–6:30 p.m. handing out $1 bills to anyone with a voucher found on GoRunners.com or KSFCU.org. This paid for the $1 discounted ticket so fans could see the game for free.

The Lady 'Runners will take on Pac–10 member Oregon State this Tuesday, Feb. 2, in the Icardo Center at 7 p.m. For ticket information, call (661) 654–BLUE!
