BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Saturday, Feb. 6, the CSUB baseball team will team up with Bakersfield's Southwest Baseball Little League to provide a free skills clinic for all registered BSWB members.

All 27 players on the 2010 Roadrunner squad will be in attendance to provide an array of instruction on batting, pitching and defense to the youth players.

The free clinic runs from 9 a.m. to noon at Aera Park on the corner of Jewetta Avenue and Stockdale Hwy.

The Roadrunners open the 2010 season in Bakersfield, at Hardt Field, on Friday, Feb. 19 against Air Force. First pitch for the opener is 2 p.m. and will be preceeded by a ceremony honoring current and former members of the armed services, as well as an Air Force flyover.
