Amber Williams Commits to Roadrunner Women's Basketball

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. ?
CSUB women's basketball Head Coach Tim La Kose announced the signing of Etiwanda High School senior Amber Williams to a letter of intent Tuesday. Williams is the first commitment to the Roadrunner basketball program for next season as CSUB will be looking to replace five outgoing seniors after this year.

Williams' outstanding junior campaign caught the interest of the CSUB coaching staff immediately. She averaged 20 points per contest to lead the Eagles to a 23?8 record. Williams was a first team All?Baseline League performer and earned league MVP honors. She was also a CIF Southern Section Scholar Athlete. A true point guard, Williams dished out 106 assists over the season and tallied 121 steals.

“Williams is one of the top guards in Southern California,” La Kose commented. “She is a tremendous scorer who comes from a great program at Etiwanda.”
