2016 (SENIOR): Member of CSUB’s first-ever WAC Tournament Champion team and first to earn NCAA Division I Tournament berth…Started all 44 appearances…Led ‘Runners in runs (28), hit by pitch (6), steals (15), and assists (84)...Third on team in hits (33) and on-base percentage (.301) and fourth in batting average (.244), doubles (4), and slugging percentage (.289)…Tied CSUB Division I single-game record with two steals four times in career…Reset CSUB D1 single-season steals record with 15…Finished with following CSUB D1 career rankings: triples (4, 3rd); sac bunts (17, 5th); steals (25; 2nd)…Named Second Team All-WAC.

2015 (JUNIOR): Only Roadrunner to start or play in all 46 games on the season…Started every game at shortstop and was fifth in the WAC in assists (97), third in triples (3), and fourth in stolen bases (10)…Batted .303 on the year while posting 15 RBI, 17 runs, and five walks…Was second on the ‘Runners with eight doubles and 43 hits and fifth in batting average and slugging percentage (.401)…Named to Second Team All-WAC after batting .340 in conference games…Tied CSUB Division I single-game record with two stolen bases twice…Led the ‘Runners with 14 multi-hit games.

2012-14 (JUNIOR COLLEGE): Competed for Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif…Played under coach Ruby Rojas while one of her assistant coaches was two-time Olympic gold medalist, Crystl Bustos…Named First Team All-Conference, First Team All-State, and All-American in 2013 and 2014…In her sophomore season, batted .497 while recording 77 hits including nine doubles, 6 triples, and one home run…Also stole 33 bases for the Mounties…Helped lead Mt. SAC to be 2013 conference and regional champions on the way to super regionals…Guided the Mounties to the state championship game in 2014…Earned an AA degree in liberal arts and kinesiology wellness.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Chino High School...Coach was Mike Smith...Was named Second Team All-Conference as a sophomore and junior…Also played volleyball and basketball for the Cowboys.

PERSONAL: Born July 5, 1992...Daughter of John and Mili Simmons…A kinesiology major who plans to minor in sociology…Hopes to get her masters after graduating from CSUB…Older brother Anthony played baseball for Central Arizona from 2007-09…Is active in her church, loves strawberry cheesecake ice cream, the movie “Mean Girls,” and her family…Middle name is Faleupolu.
